So while I was searching the wastes, I came across an enclave outpost north of Greener Hills waste disposal and when I looked at the terminal there it said something about offering purified water to locales being screened to see if they were pure enough to join the Enclave when I found something that made me chuckle. It said that anyone not fit would have to be "disposed of with flames". I'm pretty sure it's a reference to kill it with fire. xD Has anyone else found something similar to this from any of the enclave outpost terminals?

Disposing of things with fire isn't that strange, I doubt it was directed at the meme.

But disposing of people with fire is. I don't think it's too far of a stretch to say that it's related to the meme.

Actually, it was a favored method of executing heretics and witches during the middle ages. And to dispose of corpses during a plauge. We don't do it in modern times because being a witch/heretic isn't a criminal offense (unless you live in the Middle east) and we tend to use a different method to dispose of the dead in disaster areas...

Yea I don't think it was a reference at all, it was just meant to be creepy. Plus thats quite the stretch to guess.

So by that logic, any use of fire to destroy/kill something is a reference to the meme?


It's just a coincidence that the Enclave prefers fire to dispose of Ghouls... Cheap... and effective...
