So, are most of these broken quest chains fixed now?

Hi there.

Just wondering if you're making any comment regarding the number of broken quest chains and random 'mini-sever-relog-lottery' we've been facing in the stress test.

It was a constant discussion in /zone with people saying we're running an old build of the game, but when I checked it was 1.0.0.941004, so a lot newer than the test 2 weeks ago.

Are you prepared to state or make any comment as to what the state of the game will be on 4/4? Will these problems be fixed? Or will my 5 day headstart mostly be getting 20/25 bugged quests in my quest log?

Cheers

I have a suspicion that a lot of these bugs are all basically the SAME bug, and if they can fix that (and possibly already have on what will be the early release version) then everything should be kosher. If NOT.... then that could be a very very disappointing roll-out, considering how many still exist.

Basically, if your quest is to go somewhere and kill someone and that npc is triggered to spawn when you get there then youre screwed. You find dozens of adventurers standing around waiting and npc never shows.

You could always do the 'log-off' then 'log-on-pray-for-a-not-broken-miniserver' game... Which after 20 log outs/ins gets very frustrating.

This is why I'd like to know whats happening their end. I want to know if I should take a week off work from 30/3 or wait a few weeks until all the things are fixed. I don't want to take a week off, to be sat there shouting at my screen.

I forgive and forget all this stuff every time in an alpha/beta/stress test...but not on an 'early access' or 'launch'.

I just hope the five day early access doesn't end up being one big cluster. I am bracing for the worst.

Tbh...the very last thing I did tonight was the fighter guild quest in the lvl20 region.

Its been bugged all weekend, but now that there were no other players there, the mobs I needed were there as soon as I entered the door.

So Im guessing that half of the quests claimed as bugged are simply over-crowded and you never get a chance at the boss, or some issue with phasing.

Im also experiencing new bugs with architecture in cyrodil ( invisible walls), and thats new to this beta as far as Im aware.

Sometimes they fix themselves with a relog, other times not.

Im also wondering if the serious drop in frame rates compared to the last beta has anything to do with the new collision detection on NPCs/mobs?

With my GTX 650 Ti, I don't think the game is playable for the most part (in Cyrodil), even with many low settings.
