Feelings after the last beta- where do you stand?

Post » Mon Mar 17, 2014 5:52 pm

Ok, so there have been a lot of concerns brought up on the board over the weekend and it seems that a lot of negativity and concerns have been aired- a lot more than the positives. I'm curious to see if you are still planning on playing at launch or not, and if you've changed your mind, why? Do you feel the game, bugs notwithstanding, is good enough to hold your interest, or did the last beta make you feel that this isn't the game for you? Where do the majority of concerns fall? Are you still hyped for release? Enquiring minds wanna know!

I am very concerned about the quest phasing issue. I'm concerned it might understandably hurt sales and reputation of this fantastic game. I'll still be buying the longest sub deal as soon as they are announced.

Please keep in mind that the internet forums usually have a negative bias due to the fact that unhappy people are much more inclined to publicly complain as compared to happy people to praise :)

I know. However, I also know that there are people who post here that are perfectly happy and are still hyped for launch, which is why polls are nice. Some people don't feel they need to defend the game in every negative thread, so their opinion isn't heard. A poll is an easy way to show their support without having to be confrontational :)

I do have concerns about them being able to fix the global problem of quest specific spawn items(npc's and items) not spawning but even if that does not get fixed right at launch I will just bypass as many of these quests as I can and move forward, coming back after the issue is resolved later on an alt. I chose the first answer because I did not like the wording in the poll for the second answer.

I'm a bit concerned about the few broken quests I've found playing beta. But I do realize that we weren't playing the lastest build of ESO. I've yet to see a mmo start up free of bugs so I expect some early problems. But not enough problems to prevent me from playing or enjoying ESO at release.

I hit lvl 30 and someone said something about a mount or pet or something special I duno if they just pulling players legs or not... Some quests got fixed then the next part were bugged. I thought they used a updated version of the game so the bugs were fixed but I guess not. Least I know what to expect when doing these quests over again.

Still planning and looking forward to playing, but I am hoping all the quest bugs are fixed.

The game is still ton of fun. Its been a while since i havent been hyped for an MMO, even if i played all the big releases i was always skeptical.

This one stole my soul and it feel like the 2 weeks to wait will be waaay too long.

I so wanted to love this game but the horrific 3rd person view is a deal-breaker for me.

If it was f2p model I would would give it a shot. If it didnt have a massive pay up front model and I just had to pay monthly I would give it a shot and see if I could work with the 3rd person view

The combination of being unsure about the game interaction and its large up front cost is a deal breaker. If they either improved view or changed business model to something more current I would be in
