Anybody know when the servers will go down for maintenance and for how long?

Will they go down on a daily basis, weekly basis, for an hour or for 6 hours?

Or will they only go down for an update to the game?

Aside from potential hotfix restarts (especially in the early going), it's very likely that there will be at least a weekly server restart. There's no official announcement that I know of, though.

I believe GW2 managed to avoid a weekly server maintenance (other than big problems) so it will be interesting to see if ZOS\ESO can achieve the same thing.

I hope to god it isnt everyday for 2 hours after release, and then once a week for 8 hours several months from now :/

Come on people. Isn't this being a bit nitpicky? Yes. There will be down times. Especially in the first few weeks for fixes. After that there will be regular down times for patches and fixes. Deal with them as they come. No matter what they do there will be complaints and people says they are discriminating against some region. Let's leave those complaints when they come instead of crying foul for the next week or two
