Please bring Chat Bubbles!

I don't like them, especially when they get in the way during pvp or mob killing. That said, a toggle is fine, since I know rp'ers typically eat them up.

So long as the things are disabled by default, I'm okay with allowing chat bubbles.

For the people that say it's cartoonish, why do you think that comics have them? It's to add visualization in a place without a voice. If the game had a voice chat where the sound from the characters came to you in a surround style from the exact place where the character is on the screen then chat bubbles wouldn't be needed, but without such technology a chat bubble is the next best thing.

You don't see people walking around looking at the bottom left of their peripheral vision to hear what the person in front of them saying right? For some kind of a semblance of immersion chat bubbles ARE needed otherwise you are playing a game in a Universe with only deaf people.

Nothing wrong with giving us the choice to have them on or off.

I agree. Chat bubbles make the characters look that they are actually speaking, and not just a chat. Ingame voice chat would be nice too.
