Think of roleplayers as actors. It's not real, it's all for entertainment.

This one will be playing way too much (at least during the headstart) seeking sugar cougar.

Oh if only all RPers would learn this very simple rule!

Too often I've seen the lines blurred and it almost always ends in tears.

No roleplaying here, I'm playing this game with one person only and for the times we are both on they are nothing more than XP rings to us. in fact thats why i got the imperial version. it's certainly not for the fluff useless pets or the lame horse.

LOL indeed, many a very funny reply on this thread! I actually was unaware of an XP bonus related to the Mara ring. I'm not getting the IE, so I guess no bonus for me for a bit... a lone Dunmer in a cruel cruel world....

Just so some of you know, once you share that ring with someone it can never be undone. so choose right those of you seeking out strangers first day. There is not going to be any; Hey zenimax I'm not friends with him/her anymore i want my ring back plz!

She likes twilight for crying out loud. She probably had you kill those vampire followers of hers because they weren't pretty enough for her sphere or something. My sphere is way better.

Indeed. Anyone pairing up here (although it looks rather hopeless so far) should probably discuss business a while first.

Don't know if I'll end up using it, even as a roleplayer I find rp marrage rather silly but to each their own. If I join the Dark Brotherhood am I "married" to Sithis?

Divorce should totally be an option, only the guy has to give his ex half his experience from then on.

It can be a tricky subject. It can bring out a lot in a character, but it can also bring out too much in a player. That's why I figure if it's treated as more of a business sort of thing, it might end up more successful.

... What? Sheogorath isn't the only one who takes an occasional holiday.

You do realise Mara is considered as mother to all, right?

I know, but I have increased XP bonus now. Even more than the regular Ring of Mara.

'Marital Bliss', skill description: Lose money when your partner is in a town and you're not there with him/her. This skill can't be turned off once equipped. Keep your partner close and your purse elsewhere..

I improved it for ya

She's one of the Aedra though. They all lost their powers when they created Nirn, and aren't even powerful enough to manifest themselves in human form anymore, unlike their Daedric counterparts. They actually have less influence on Nirn than it's inhabitants, but I digress..

What I really want to ask is this; since you're allegedly married to Mara.. what does her other husband; Akatosh, Dragon God of Time think about all this?

Akatosh doesn't appear to be bothered by it. I'm Ainur, so I take him should he want to try something.
