MMO pit fight ESO losing atm

Post » Sat Mar 22, 2014 6:30 am

Wow, surprised at how close ESO got to WS, as the later was absolutely destroying when I saw this. That said none of this matters, its an online poll no different than if I had posted one here.

personally I have both pre-ordered, I love the humor and Aesthetic in WS and TES (I couldn't have any less of an interest in ArchAge) is my favorite IP hands down, I don't understand the 'THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE!" mindset of MMO gamers these days.

I voted ESO, but only because I don't have interest in old MMO's. I've been looking for something different and ESO scratches that itch.

If I wanted space WoW circa 2002 I'm sure Wildstar would be for me...

Wildstar seems to be alright I guess, but I can't stand the cartoony style.

Achage is great, but still, I would rather play ESO.

Anyway, just voted.

I actually like the look of Wildstar, it's just that NCsoft is notoriously horrible company. Any game they touch turns to ash. I might check out Wildstar if ESO doesn't work out for me.

Just looked at their site, and yeah - does look really cartoonish, so would have a hard time getting into the game.

Plus, just don't care about elves in space.

Well considering I have only heard the name "Wildstar" and know nothing about it, and did not even know ArcheAge existed....

I stopped going there a long time ago. They basically spread "less than accurate" information about ESO. I just got tired of it. I'd imagine that most folks interested in playing TESO doesn't go to that site anyways. Let them enjoy their F2P and Wildstar circle jer....

Edit* By a long time ago, I mean 2 months ago when I got tired of their [censored].

Dont judge Wildstar by NCsoft. I cant think of a single company like Carbine (developers of wildstar) who have been so open and honest about their game to the community and take feedback from pretty much everyone on their beta forums. As a gamer , i have never seen anything like it , and I have been playing MMOs since EQ1. How Wildstar will turn out , i dont know. But I will definitely reward their honesty with my subscription.

Looking to play it along with ESO also , but I worry about the publisher on how they handled City of Heroes and Aion along with GW2 .

I can. It's more of the same with some new twists and good marketing behind it. That said, the combat feel even more clunky than here seeing as it is set to be action oriented, yet has hard target locking, unlike eso.
