Help with Warnings.txt

Post » Sat Mar 22, 2014 1:42 am

Hello,

I just did a clean install from disc, and after launching the game I received a bunch of errors that told me to look at the "Warnings.txt" file. I have and am confused about what to do about it, so I am asking for help here.

Here is the contents of my "Warnings" txt file:

Looks like you have installed the expansions in wrong order. It has to be Morrowind > Tribunal > Bloodmoon.

You should try reinstalling Bloodmoon first.

The expansions were installed in correct order, and after launching it still displayed the same errors before crashing.

Nothing new has been added to the "warnings" txt.

The only way to get the above error is if Tribunal was installed after Bloodmoon

After uninstalling fully (and from registry), and re-installing in correct order (Morrowind>Tribunal>Bloodmoon), the errors still appear but the game instead can launch from Wyre Mash, despite there being no mods installed.

Where is the game installed? There are problems with Morrowind on Vista/7/8 when the game's in Program Files and Program Files (x86).

Delete warnings.txt, start the game and see what the new warnings file has to say.
