Shouting Ulfric Apart?

Post » Sat Mar 22, 2014 1:16 pm

I want to finish the Imperial quest line by killing Ulfric with Unrelenting Force. Is it possible by stacking Marked for Death on him and then shouting him against the nearest wall? (Plus perhaps that meditation effect that powers up Unrelenting).

I've not gotten to the end of it before, so I'm not sure if he surrenders like the Jarl of Whiterun in the Stormcloaks chain.

Well, Unrelenting Force does 10 points of damage using all three words, though its fall damage is far more imposing (presumably the health damage is so that it counts as an assault to use it).

Ulfric will be essential until the final scene with Tullius commences, and afterwards he'll die in one hit. That does mean that Unrelenting Force could be used to push him against the wall.

If you have the Dragonborn DLC, you can get a power called Dragonborn Force that allows Unrelenting Force to disintegrate enemies.

Once you get to the end of the Imperial side of the civil war you will be able to kill him in one shot with basically anything. I generally use Unrelenting Force or Fire Breath on him for a more poetic end.

I used Unrelenting Force once, pushed him clean over his throne. Not sure if he died on impact or not, but I ran over and attacked with my Imperial Sword for poetic irony.

I was so unimpressed with the civil war quest line that I couldn't be bothered to kill Ulfric myself - I let Tullius do it

Remarkably unreliable. I have this power and have used the shout maybe 15 times. Nothing special ever happened.

He has 1 HP at that point, much like Grelod. Only Grelod is standing up so you can get some fun kill OTT kill cams on her. :D

Lol, if I could spare him ultimately I would. Not given that option though.
