If I slaughter my spouse, can I lure in someone else to be my septim provider?

If the answer to the previous question is "yes", is this cycle able to be repeated until no NPCs that can be married are left surviving?

Excluding essential NPCs (if you can marry them).

If you're on PC, you can remarry. You just do some extra steps with the console commands. If on Xbox/PS3, then no.

The only way to have a divorce on the console is with an axe. Or your bare fists if you're manly enough.

I know what you mean though. Wish we could remarry. At least if your spouse dies by the hand of another (bandit invasion, or if she's a follower and dies during an adventure).
