I had to reinstall the game. When I start it with the launcher it only goes as far as the load or continue menu, then it closes and I end up back on the desktop. I have reinstalled it again, tried to start it in safe mode, I even rolled back my graphics driver but it still does the same thing. I am running windows 7 with a AMD radeon 4200 graphics card. It worked great before my computer crashed. All my other games work fine. It's probably something simple that I'm overlooking. Does anyone know a fix for this. I did a search on the forums but there was nothing specifically discussing this type of problem. PLEASE HELP ME. Thanks.

So it crashes when you try to load a save? Were you using SKSE before the crash? Have you reinstalled all the mods your save file needs?

If you just start a new character does the game work fine?

Sounds like you have a mod searching for its master. Paste mod load order.
