Time it will take for someone to hit lvl 50?

Post » Sun Mar 23, 2014 5:51 am

I can't talk about other people, but in the beta it has always taken me about 2.5-3 days to get to about level 18-20. it might take me a week or more to get to level 50. but it all depends on how you play, those that rush will get there quicker while those that sit back and actually enjoy the game will take a bit longer.

I personally think they will be justified because there isnt any, except for more questing from a pve standpoint. Dont understand why MMOs cant learn from predecessor's mistakes. More variety of content avaiable at launch , the better it is for the game. But almost every single one over the past few years releases with lack of variety of content and expects to succeed. WIldstar will be the first to break that mold i think. Lets see what happens post launch.

When they do, I will point them straight to Cyrodiil .)

It is simle. Majority of these are PvPers. When I was playing lineage or WoW I son discovered that being top level is all that matters. In a game that has such a bad design for pvp that allows top levels to kill noobs you don't have much choice. But in ESO I really don't understand this rush.you can not be killed unless you enter Cyrodil... In there you find kassive groups so you will always find something to do and your level is not important. Rushing in leveling is the biggest mistake a player can do. It robs you for countless hours of gameplay. I personaly hope that I won't see top level in month... (mine top level).

some people will ignore every lines of dialogue and will just rush to the end ASAP, for god i dont know why since its what make this game so good to start with. So expect people 1 day after release hitting the lvl50. For me though i will take my time so i expect around 4-5 days of played time before hitting the cap.

For me it's the journey that counts not the destination. So with my first character I will just sit back and enjoy myself and explore Tamriel.

I think that people that have rush to hit the highest level first and must have the best and biggest sword before everybody else are just trying to compensate for something. This is a game not a pissing contest.

Rushing to endgame is not particularly advisable to most people. Most competitive players are going to want to at least grab up as many skyshards, skill points from quests/dungeons and lore books for Mage guild progression as possible, assuming their build doesn't require less than this. The unfortunate part for the majority though is the only people who have a direct route for this stuff are PTS players, lol.

I don't mind who gets to 50 first and how fast. If they're in my alliance, I'll support them. If they're not, I'll wait 50 levels (a few months), gather 20 other noobs (friends and associates) and cut 'em down (ambush them when they're alone, and preferably AFK).

It's estimated to take 100 hours, however you want to split that up.

I'm guessing less than 48 hours.

There will most likely be groups of 'hardcoe' powerlevelers around that want to rush there.

And they will get their 15 minutes of fame, then noone will care anymore.

For me, with the way I play? Probably 6 months or more. I take my time, I don't obsess about playing every day or logging in X amount of hours to make my subscription worthwhile.

Since the devs say it's 100-150 hours...you could do that pretty quickly if you wanted to. I don't know why you would want to, but different strokes for different folks

Ive done the whole, rush to be the first of your class to max level thing and well, was first. I'll never do that again, especially with the track record of MMOs lately. That said, I guess it depends how much they really nerfed mob grinding. I doubt you will see three days, but I could be wrong. But I expect a few by official launch day.

This is completely wrong.

First, level cap is Veteran Level 10, not level 50 like the poll was asking about. More likely, the HC obsessive players will hit lvl 50 in 2-3 days, the normal HC players will hit lvl 50 in a week, and the average but devoted player will hit lvl 50 in a month.

Veteran Level 10 is different, it will be at least a week until the most obsessive player hits VL10, and it will be two weeks before a normal HC player hits VL10. The average player wont hit VL10 for 2 months assuming they don't create alts.

Up to a week or more, depending on how many hours you play ESO daily. It took me, personally, less than three days.

With some of the recent changes done to XP gains, I'm going to say 3 days.

How long will it take the average casual gamers? More than a month, perhaps even two or three.

Your average hardcoe gamer? A week or two.

Those people that don't sleep and live for this? Somewhere between 2 and 3 days, tops.

It's also worth noting that some people really do take this race seriously. I have nothing against them; if that's how they like to spend their free time then more power to them.

Edit: nvm, Pseudo said it.

Myself: anywhere from four to six weeks, more than likely. Maybe quicker if leveling in Cyrodiil is faster than I believe.

I voted up to a week. Simply because I think it shouldn't be possible to level up that high that quickly. But I also think that there will be someone that will play and race through within the first week and hit lvl 50.

As for myself, I can't really say. I'd guess a month or two, or longer.

Lol really? 24 hours? Beside a glitch, exploit or hack I don't think that's possible and whoever does it must know every single quest or etc that offer that fastest and most experience.
