But the elven woman seen in the cinematic is what class exactly? Also, do the 3 main protagonists have any write ups or bio information detailing them?

She is a mage (a sorc most likely)

they aren't supposed to have any other meaning besides a representation of what you can do in the game via different classes. They aren't characters in the game at all, they represent your choice.

So which mage/sorcerer skill allows you to grab opponents with green arcane tentacles and whip them about like ragdolls, because I want it.

Also, most CGI characters have real life models. Gollum from LotR and Ceaser from Rise of the Planet of the Apes were done by Andy Serkis. The CGI Hulk in the Avengers had Mark Ruffalo's face. The CGI Hulk from the movie with Jennifer Connely in it used her facial expressions as a model for the close up shots of the Hulk's face.

My point to all that is.....I SWEAR I've seen that elven woman in another film. But I can't quite place the face. My search-fu is weak. Can someone perhaps please find out whom it is that she's modeled after, if at all?

Nobody has an answer to this? I simply cannot believe that.
