The correct answer is "caster" for all four.

This poll is essentially asking which weapon skill line fits best with which class.

IMO there's no answer for any of them. Weapon skills complement Class skills, any weapon skill line can work well with any class in different ways.

But, since I play Healers mainly, I voted Restoration Staff for all of them.

Well some classes have more utility spells, while others have out right damage spells that will work better with X weapon.

It seems though a majority of the votes are people still thinking in the linear sense.

All classes can fill all roles; there is no "best" build.

This poll is biased heavily upon what weapon-style you personally prefer... people that like playing archers will find a way to make DK archers, Sorc archers, Templar archers, NB archers... same with dual wielding (as shown above) etc... I think people will pick what weapon-style they want to play, THEN pick which class they think will fill out that style the best.

Perhaps, we should have a poll in revers format: Ask what class players think embodies the 'tank' best, 'dual wield' best, 'archer' best, etc?

its the player that makes the class not the class that makes the player.

Don't change it, add a new poll. Start it from scratch to get best 'true' responses.

Yeah, I think DK has a problem in that it is so... odd. The whole concept seems somehow 'unfitting' to the world. We have templars who channel holy energies (ok, that is normal in fantasy games), a sorcerer who calls upon dark magics and demons (ok, yep, that's normal too!), and an assassin type who cloaks themselves in shadows and can leech the very life from you (still pretty generic fantasy stuff here)...

Then we have the dragon knight... a guy who is part dragon, or learned dragon magic, or something, not quite sure... that can change his very body structure to have hardened scales, breathe fire, throw a chain from hell, lengthen his claws and grow a dragon's spine out of his back... Now, hold up... what world did this come from? This seems like the equivalent of a DBZ toon in a fantasy world... here we have Legolas, Drizzt, Rand Al'Thor, and Goku!

Just seems out of place... alien in a lot of ways.

You're right, there's nothing like dragon knight in other Elder Scrolls games, I hadn't considered it. I'm not familiar with the class, I've only played sorc thus far. I've seen them around though and i'm sure the class has it's own merits. Not sure how out of place in a game with werewolves and vampires it is. Vampires being able to do various shape-shift type abilities is also a first. I was just watching a vid where they were saying Dunmer DK staff build is pretty op.

wonder if these votes are most just guesses like mine, lol.

Interesting to see, though the Templar over Sorc as healer is laughable. In fact, most anything over Sorc (except DK as tank) is pretty far fetched.
