How come there are so many people saying stuff like this? Especially those wildstar/wow/swtor die hards? Those people say its the same as every other MMO, but how is it? Do they want skyrim online or something? They say ESO could be so much better but these people never say how.

Seriously how can this game be better than it is now? What could zenimax do to stop people from calling it "another generic mmo"? How can you convince people to stop wanting this game to be skyrim online but a standalone/spinoff mmo rpg? Are these people trolling because they're jealous of the game or what?

This game is the perfect online Elder scrolls game, with a mix of single player and multiplayer elements. I myself couldn't possibly imagine a better way to make an online elder scrolls game.

When you are a fan of one particular MMO (WoW, for example) then the "cool" thing to do is mindlessly bash every other MMORPG that ever comes out using ridiculous and completely baseless arguments. This is something that I've come to know through years of observation.

Just let them play their Wildstar for a time and they will shift the opinion on which mmo is generic (already played that game's beta). Lots of those people hate on the other mmos because they are hyped and blinded towards one game and it makes them feel better to trash other games. They never explain their point because they have no explanation for it, some of them try to explain it with plain lies that only fool the people that haven't seen nor played this game before. You can't convince them to change, only they can change their own opinion when they bash their head against reality.

It's hilarious to me, because anyone who has spent 5 minutes in the game knows how different it is from the standard.

It's just a bunch of baseless claims from people scared that ESO might do well, and in the process threaten the population of whatever their current favorite MMO is.
