Post your keybinding setup here

Post » Tue Mar 25, 2014 5:50 pm

I'm just wondering what you guys will be using for keybinding.

I plan to use a Logitech G13, a razer naga mouse, and a triple foot pedal switch. I have yet to decide what to bind but normally jump is always a foot pedal. I will also do roll/dodge as another foot pedal. They say your feet are faster at reacting than your hands are (I don't remember where I read that)

It seems we will have skills but also potions available to drink.

5 skills

1 ultimate

1 weapon switch

5 more skills

1 ultimate

tab targetting

mount/unmount

crouch/stealth

sprint

potion 1

Ninja Ressing this post because I actually use the search Function.

This dude might even be more hardcoe than me, foot-pedels!? dude is bad ass!

I use a G13 and G700s Mouse and am interested in what others are doing. Going to come up with a format to / see what logitech has for sharing these.

Any other logitech users around?

Update: well logitechs print layout works like garbage for showing and shareing layout. Do not know what I expected lol.

In WoW I was a clicker and used 2 optical mice for a time. But since then I've played LoL and used it's minimal keybinds.

I use this setting, begrudgingly, because I svck at key-binding: (would love to see others set-ups and any recommendations for someone who can't touch-type)

ASDW - movement

E = skill 1

R = skill 2

F = skill 3

X = skill 4

C = skill 5

1 = Ultimate

Q = quick-potions

Alt = environment interaction

G = player interaction

Ctrl = crouch

I use the traditional setup in this game , except i dont like back pedaling and rebound S to my dodge button. And num pad1 bound on my razer naga for weapon swap. Tbh there isnt much to keybind in this game.

sofar my key setup is

wasd for movement, but have move forward on LMB, move backward on RMB

also have sprint on the mouse and will likely put search/open on the mouse aswell

i really need a hand free at times to smoke, eat, drink

then i put my basic/power attack on 1, block on 2, abilities on 3-7

ill need to find something for dodge and break cc at some point

I use a standard keyboard with a Razor Death Adder. This is going to sound corny, but it works for me :)

WSQE - movement.

D - crouch

F - Interact with environment

F5 - Interact with player

A - Quickslot potion

TAB - Weapon Swap

MB3 - auto run

Abilities

1 - 1

2 - 2

3 - 3

4 - MB4

5 - MB5

Ultimate - R

The rest is default. I don't use ctrl or alt because for whatever reason they are awkward to me.

I'll probably get murdered for this as I kind of feel silly for asking, but hey, you don't ask you don't learn right? :blush:

What are the benefits to changing your key binding from default? I used to do it years ago when I used a logitech track ball with buttons all over it. ( I loved that thing, do people still use trackballs, as I never see them advertised or in shops anywhere these days )

Its more of personal preference more than anything else. It differs from player to players, but most competitive players keybind everything. In my case, i found double tapping to dodge cumbersome for example and just rebound it to the S key . So for example if i want to dodge right i press S+D at the same time. Again like i said its personal preference.

Personal preference, macros, and things like gaming mice are the main reasons.

Nothing wrong with asking that. It's just a matter of comfort. I always advise people to switch keybinds around to match their playstyle rather than force themselves to use the default keys. Switching keybinds to match your own style and taste, can lead to a much more fluid experience. Forcing yourself to use a key that is awkward can lead to frustration and confusion. It's totally personal. Like the seat and steering wheel settings in a car. If you aren't thinking about it, then it's set up right. If it's a distraction, then it's set up wrong for you.

Razer Naga, Newest Logitech Keyboard (whatever it's called)

Button layout is almost default, only thing changed are;

Z= Synergy

X= Sheathe, Unsheathe (can't stand having my weapons out after combat... Dunno why)

C= Crouch (Comes from FPS game experience)

TAB= Auto Run (Cause who uses tab targeting int his game?)

Yup... rest is default. Maybe in the future ALT= toggle walk/run
