ES Vs. LOTR

So if these realms were melded who would win if the races united and fought the other universe in your opinions. What would the tactics plans army make up look like for these two sides. And describe or discuss everything that'd take place and some important battles and tech for these two as well.

Both universes have trump cards which are exclusive to their mythos. So I don't think this question can be properly answered.

As much as I love TES, even thinking about the Elder Scrolls universe being melded with Middle-Earth is an insult to Tolkien's work.

Tolkien is known as the father of conventional Fantasy Fiction.
It is hard to deny his influence on the Elder Scrolls, and many other works.
Comparing them would be like comparing me to my dad. Or anyone to their parent.

ES and LOTR have similarities and differences, and I don't really see the point in comparing them.
Personally I prefer Elder Scrolls, much in part to Ted Peterson and Micheal Kirkbride's work on the lore and design.
Mainly because they brought ES away from being a generic Tolkien Clone(like a lot of DnD campaign settings, Dragon Age and The Witcher) and into it's own thing.

Ents vs Hist, that should be tough :hehe:

Could the Ents invade Black Marsh successfully?

Maybe "uncle." I think that TES inherits more traits from Leiber's Gray Mouser stories than from LOTR.
