Can anyone fill me in on ranged CC skills that also happen to be aoe (or cone)? The only one I can think of off the top of my head is Encase from the Sorcerer Dark Magic skill line. However, I'm sure there are others, especially with morphs and such.

While I have mainly played Templar, I believe most classes have at least some AOE CC abilities. Most of the AOE CC abilities for the Templar, are in the Dawn's Wrath skill line. However, be aware that most skills that do CC, essentially cause a slow or partial snare, with only a few holding/snaring fully. In general, I have heard that Sorcerers have very good CC, but I have not played one enough to say for sure.

Encase in Sorc's Dark Magic tree is a conal AoE root. also a snare when morphed one way.

oh, well in that case, if we are overlooking ignorance, then threads like "can you jump in eso?" and "does this game have pvp?" are legit, and we should encourage complete durps to flood the forums with nonsense, because who cares right? lol

I researched on my own, though I've found information on sites like ESOhead.com to be out-of-date sometimes. I asked here due to the number of beta players with firsthand knowledge. Thanks to all who offered constructive comments.
