Does anyone knows if the game reserves a name for your account for 24hrs (or some amount of time) in case you delete a char?

In GW2 for an example , i could create a char fast to reserve a name , then i could delete it and the name would still be locked to my acc for 24 hrs before others could take it.

PS: Sorry if this has been answered before , my friend gave me the game today and i was not really planning on playing this before.

why u ask that? we havent even created a character yet.

You want to fast create a character, grab the name and then delete and recreate? I have no idea if there is any reservation.

Then allow me to give u a hint... Do that and recreate your character the next day at night night hours. Because the first day, will be panic!

Yeah , if that feature is not in place , i will resort to that hehe.

But since i was not sure , i decided to check , since it would allow me to play a lot faster and to put more effort in the customization since i can take my time.

I do not know if they would have that implemented or not. But i am going to create my 8 chars, (saving names) and only spend time creating my MAIN to be the way i want as far as customization. Then later on when im ready to divulge in my alts ill fix them to my pleasing.

Will be waking up at 4 or 5am in preperation for sundays early access. Names are important to me so i hope i get all the 8 i want!!!!

i tried this briefly last beta weekend, and i could not use the same name after i deleted it. doubt someone else had taken it already but idk

you cant imagine how fast my 10$ keyboard can be, when that time comes.. lol Lets hope the servers WONT overload and kick us out during the process of login in and login out. But I live in EU, America will have a bigger amount of players in the beginning.... Pick your most desired name first.

Yeah , i might use a name i never notice nobody pick in other MMO for my first char and let the other locked for a long time , chances are by then i can create with less hurry.

heh oh well , guess i was hoping for too much heh.

Same hehe , usually i do get many of the names i like , it is not like i want Legolas or the like , but still , they are names know by many.

By the way , how many char slots we get? Mine is the DDE version , in case there is a dif.

Oh and maybe someone also knows.

Besides the max char slots , how many letters max each name can have?

get those names and get em quick!

so if we do that and delete/recreate, we cannot use that name after? oh....
