If you're getting a error message window about "ESO had to quit suddenly" or something to that effect, try running your launcher in Administrator mode. I was having this issue for a bit and I think it was due to some firewall funkiness.

Good luck.

I don't know why you wouldn't be, but are you not running the launcher as an Admin?

If you would post up your computer spec that might help to diagnose the issue.

I was having a similar problem. Turned out it was the computer's way of telling me to clean it before I could play :) Dismantled, cleaned thoroughly, reassembled and no more problems.

Some people don't though, this is not a criticism on anyone but some people waltz along in life just always installing things in the default location, don't even know what 'run as administrator' means, and trip through life expecting everything (or at least the software they download and install) to work "just like that"!!!!

*Comment from a longsuffering techie woman who often has to run to the "Y IT NO WORK?" call of her less techie husband and sort it all out for him*

Oh i feel you. I was in the hardware side of the PC business for year and step-by-step problem solving for tech issues got driven into me early on. Everyone who knows me is always dropping their tech issues on me.

This made me laugh and more than one set of eyes looked up from adjoining offices.
