I've always found voice-chat and RP to mutually opposing forces. How does your guild get around that common conundrum?

Most of the guilds I've been in with similar situations just have voice chat be non-rp with perhaps a RP channel if there's interest.

Really, this is your first post? It's a nice concept and all but it seems more like a dictatorship because of how you describe this guild, which is what I hate about people. Let people be themselves, not a drone you think you can program.

I think the post looks fine. It's a refreshing change of pace to see role-players with a hardcoe approach to the game. I gave up on role-play a long time ago because it was always associated to "casual play". I like the idea, good luck to you guys ^.^

Yeah, that sounds about right from my experiences too. The RP is always a secondary (or lower) concern, sad in a way. Well, for myself anyways as a hardcoe RP (i.e. try to be IC 100% of the time whilst in-game). But each to their own of course.

I poked around their website a few days ago and was pretty impressed with what I seen. I've been a part of large guilds before in other MMO's and having a website that encourages members to visit by sharing content and information is a huge plus. After some time on their forums, I got a pretty good idea of the kind of people they are behind the scenes. It felt like such a good fit, I've already applied. It is refreshing to find like minded gamers that care to take the time to create a professional yet caring atmosphere for their fellow guildies. I am certain that atmosphere will carry over in game.
