CTD only when I enter The Midden Dark under the College : V

So I've come across one of those dreaded CTD's when trying to load a new area, this time I stumbled upon it while doing the College's questline.

Seems that whenever I try entering The Midden Dark the game just crashes to desktop after sitting on the loading screen for a couple seconds.

I'm usually able to fix these CTD's myself, but after endless Googling on trying to figure out which one of my mods could be causing this I give up.

did you use BOSS to check all of your plugins and load orders and mods and such? because usually that's the case and after that use TES V edit to clean up the "dirty edits" to those mods there are walkthroughs and instruction videos on Youtube and on the next

If not then you will have to do it the long way...keep checking every single mod until you find the "broken" mod and take that out and hopefully that will solve the problem

now if that's not the case run verify files on Steam to check the folder contents

this situation happened to me when i had the Lakeview extended mod installed and the game kept on crashing as i kept on appoarching the cell area that was until i ran, BOSS, TES V edit, and verify game files on Steam and that solved my problems
