The mobs will be scaled to Veteran Ranks and should be a decent challenge.

i see thats good, i really like this. I was worried i would have to make 3 chars across 3 factions but now i can make and play jsut 1 char as i like to do and see the entire game :)

Is the other Alliance zones phased to you? i.e. if the NPC mobs scaled to say 50, do they appear as 50 to you and level 5 to someone levelling in the same zone? Do you see the other Alliance players?

I have not yet reached 50 yet myself.

You will only see other veteran players in the veteran zones. You will not cross paths with low level players on their way to level 50. Just as there are multiple campaigns in Cyrodiil, there are multiple PVE "campaigns" as all three factions have their own separate instances of 1-44 content, VR 1-5 content and VR 6-10 content.

I need to add a slight clarification here. You will only see other players from your faction in the veteran PVE zones. So if you are a DC player, you will only see other DC players in Auridon VR 1. You will not see any AD players regardless of their level nor will you see any VR players for EP as Auridon is a VR 6 zone for EP players.

And while I suspect this is the case, it would be nice if someone could confirm... but the experience of an Ebonheart Pact character in the Aldmeri Dominion areas would NOT be the same as an Aldmeri Dominion character in the 1-50 Aldmeri Dominion area. That is, when a level 50 EP character enters the AD area, she won't be doing the same quests that a starter AD character would do in the same area.

Seems obvious, but other things that seemed obvious to me turned out to be different than expected. But I just can't see an EP character accepting quests to help AD quest-givers, particularly in missions involving defeating "invading" EP foes, eg. So it almost goes without saying (I hope) that the level 50+ character will experience different missions than the "native" level 1-50 character would.

Reason I bring this up is that if you want to experience ALL the content, you would still need to create three characters minimum ---- the level 1-50 areas for each being different from the 50+ versions of the opposing factions' 1-50 areas.

While i did hear a PTS tester say they were just recycling content, I cannot confirm this and would like to know as well .Because it will be a severe blow to alts if the content and quests are the same.

Hmm i hope the content is the same, as i have no time or intrest in making 3 chars, i play 1 char and 1 char only. i wanted to see the other faction zones iwthout having to play and make 3 chars and i like to join 1 guild and build friends and be known for 1 char.

I'd be really shocked if they DO re-use content... so much of the content in the 1-50 areas is, by nature, going to be "us" versus "them"... talk about immersion-breaking? An EP character gets a mission from his good friend the Queen of the AD to go take out some "evil" EP invaders? Whut?

Even non-faction-related missions will seem odd.... being told to take out those pesky wolves threatening a village when you're level 4 is one thing but when you're level 50+ you REALLY want to me to go fight wolves? Even if they are somehow now level 50+ wolves...

Well....there's a reason why you're in the other faction. Won't give spoilers but you'll find out when you finish your faction's story quest and are ready to move to your first 50+ content area.

I don't know. It can be done but you have to make a little bit of a buy. But hey! You are already playing a game with magic and gods and hot elf queens, what's one more am i right?!?!

Seriously though, in FFXI we had a very primitive three-nation system similar to TESOs setup in regards to each nation having a storyline. After you completed one line and received rank 10(or before if you wanted, though it was economically better to wait until rank 10) you could go to another nation and request citizenship. You then paid the fee and had your memories sealed.

Huh? You ask?

Well in the lore of the game, to keep things peacful, there was a convention that ranked members of foreign nations had to have their memories sealed during immigration and thusly protect military and state secrets. Pretty nifty imo. And practical because then you could go and do a new set of naation quests without that many hangups on whether or not lore was being trampled.

Keep the lvl scaling and add a little something like this for the Lore junkies. Win win imo.

Awe, it would have been nice to have some non-battleground interaction with other factions.. some non-scripted pvp or even tenuous pve parties cross faction.

i did not play beta much but do the pve quests have much to do with the 3 faction pvp war? i thought thats what cyrodil was for? i cant think of any quest i did that wanted me to slay dominon troops as the zones are all far away from eachother and seperate, And event he horde and alliance in WoW work together at times if its fighting a greater evil which ESO has.

I know the DC side had some AD troops you had to kill, and the EP side had, I want to say DC troops to kill... and the AD side I did not get very far but I imagine they had some opposing-faction foes to fight.

If they DO re-hash content ---- even with some hand-waving "explanation" for it --- it basically means no NEW content since I'll be playing at least three characters (one per faction) through the 1 - 50 journey.
