Just noticed this, don't think it is a mod causing this, but have no clue why it is doing this. When I look at my character, he has black steam coming up from his feet, when in 1st person view, you can see the black steam rising up from his feet, when I say steam, looks like the black smoke from fires.

I tried turning off Wet & Cold, cause I believe that's the only mod I have that even comes close to a steam affect on a character, but that didn't change anything, I had contracted vampirism, was only stage 1 I believe, I drank a cure poison potion and that took away the vampirism disease, but the smoke remains.

Also tried unequipping all my equipment, didn't change a thing. Only thing I've done , since I've noticed this is, start the companions quest.

Any ideas what could be causing this? I'm baffled !

thanks for the quick response, I tried the player.dispellAllSpells , that didn't work, so I'll just load a save from an hour ago, before it happened. But that page shows the exact problem Glad to know what is causing it, at least.

Interesting link - I never knew it was possible to dispel shaders through the console. That will come in handy
