Question on Dual Wield passive "Twin Blade and Blunt&#34

Post » Fri Mar 28, 2014 5:05 pm

It says that Sword increases damage by 2.5%, and Dagger increases crit chance by 5%.

If you wield 1 of each, do you get both bonuses?
If you wield 2 Sword (or 2 Dagger), do you get double that bonus (5% damage or 10% crit chance) ?

Thanks in advance.

I never thought of this, but it would make sense to work that way. Otherwise, what would be the difference between using different weapons or two of the same.

Any confirm?

Gut feeling, yes and yes.

Only way to know for sure would be to parse out both ways.

And i'm to old to parse data in a game that doesn't pay any of my bills, cook dinner, or generally make itself useful outside of being a kick-ass game. So i just go with my gut until someone younger and with vastly more patience parses stuff for me.

Considering how many sane and logical things have been done in ways I would NOT have thought..... it might be that your MAIN hand weapon determines the sole bonus you get. The Off Hand Weapon seems relegated to almost a side-effect of your character.

My Redguard maiden - complete with eye-patch and lithe frame - was dual wielding axes and I seem to recall that I got the benefit for only one weapon, in the main hand. Not 100% sure, however.
