Still not seeing FOV slider in latest build

Is this slated to make it into release? Really want this for 1st person play. The game needs it badly.

I guess we will find out Sunday.

Unless a PTS player can answer, no one knows.

Not gonna say no to any features that give control. But really, is the 1st person that bad. I keep seeing this pop up, its just got me wondering.

It's not for me, but it's very subjective. If it's a problem for someone it's usually because they get motion sickness. Having the option for a wider fov is just good business so more people can enjoy it.

It was answered by Paul Sage in the recent AMA thread.

Sadly, it will not be in for launch.

Considering it can actually make some people sick, I'd say it is.

It helps with spanning multi-monitor setups too and I hope it works in dialogue because when I talk to tall characters I'm staring at their chest.

Yeah it's awkward but peripheral vision is a nice trade off though. Speaking of nausea though I can't watch it when one of the kids are playing on it without getting vertigo.

Low FOV settings have always made me sick. I'll have to hold off on the whole first-person thing till it gets set up.

Yeah, the release version patch notes were posted and there was no FOV so I went and bought Landmark instead. No FOV=No sale it is that simple. Too bad after making a primarily 1st person RPG for 20 years Bethesda now forgot or just didn't care enough to continue the tradition.
