I am this day announcing the formation of the ElderScrolls Trading Consortium (ETC), a mercantile guild whose sole purpose is to facilitate the buying and selling of goods throughout all of Tamriel. Membership is open to ALL who are able to join a guild based in the North American Aldmeri Dominion Alliance. No fees, no applications, just a focus on TRADE and goods aplenty.
As a Mercantile Guild, ETC will not serve the social functions of other guilds and associations. As prosperous and resourceful merchants, we have spared no expense in providing our members with many powerful majicks and wonders, including a guild-wide "communications" channel allowing words to be magically sent directly to the eyes of all members, and whose sole purpose will be limited to mercantile dialogues and magical incantations such as "WTB" and "WTS". Most impressive are the wondrous "interfaces" available to our members for searching and listing wares of all types, recalling the boisterous bustle of a busy auction house, but without the crowds!
While other guilds across the realms will continue to serve your social and adventuring needs, ETC will provide its members with a dedicated marketplace for the immediate distribution and acquisition of the finest goods and wares.
A mercantile trading consortium is by its nature more valuable to its members the more members it has so there are no membership requirements other than a hearty lust for buying and selling. We expect to tax the full limits of the magical systems created by the infamous spell casters of Zenimax. Guild membership will only count as one of the five Guilds to which you may belong, leaving social and adventuring functions to your other guilds.
To join, simply seek out Guild Leader @Regnor.Veritas once you have crossed the threshold into Tamriel. Your immediate acceptance awaits.
