My biggest concern for this game

Problem with that is not enough people would use them and eventually nobody would use them especially if there is a charge for selling your goods. They need to be larger hence why I think factions would be better.

Edit:

I guess you might be able to have regional AHs.

Do you imagine trade guild run by goldsellers? I guess it would be quickly publicly named and banned by support becuase of rumour.

Frankly ... thats just your own fault. Even GuildWars 1 didn't have any auction house and a player community organized that just on their own!

Auction houses are something I wouldn't like to see at all in MMORPGs because it makes communication less important. A game where you actually have to trade on your own are way better than automatic mechanics as auction houses for the community.

"Now until I've tested it out actually in game I'm not sure if I'll be able to play this game because of the lack of AH. I guess we'll have to see." We?

Glad they don't have an AH, time for something different.

Why aren't we discussing the severe lack of pie I mentioned earlier?

Different doesnt mean better. I'll stand by my opinion that its the most cumbersome idea i have ever seen . Expect the official forums to be flooded with negativity because of this post launch.

I would really prefer not having to spend my entire game time standing at a wayshrine somewhere spamming goods for sale. I hate spam. That, plus the time needed for harvesting and crafting, would pretty much exclude any time playing other aspects of the game (those that I want to play). The SWG merchant-bot was a nice touch, but I agree that it would be difficult to engineer in here. I am not aure how I feel about surrendering my account information to join a guild, especially one somewhere in Cyrodil.

And, frankly, people may not care. I tried to give away a shed-load of goodies when I had to leave the final beta 3-4 hours early due to RealWorld demands, and I never even got an answer to my offers. Yes, I know the beta was winding down, but there were still several hours to use the free stuff.
