What are 5 things you are excited for in ESO

Post » Fri Mar 28, 2014 7:42 pm

1. How to become a monster:becoming a vampire/werewolf is different in this game so I am really interested to see how it works!

2. Exploring Tamriel:this is the first time we will be able to explore "all" of Tamriel and this just sounds epic that I get to go places I've only read about in books!

3. PvP:AvA is really fun and I'm a bit troubled if I should join a campaign at level 10 or wait till I reach level cap.

4. Trials/adventure zones:it just seems like a very nice system for end game PvE, I'm not much of a raider but I am really excited to see how this plays out!

5. The community: You always meet nice or interesting people in MMO that even if the game doesn't do well you still keep in contact.

1) After playing SW: Tor since beta I'm actually looking forward to a game that's new. The fact that it's ESO is the icing on the cake :)

2) Exploring Tamriel at my own pace. During the beta I felt like I had an obligation to level and quest and go faster than I really wanted to.

3) Getting my friends together to take on Dark Anchors. Only got to do one during beta and we were woefully unprepared and got our asses kicked.

4) Seeing the areas beyond what I accessed during the beta.

5) Finally being able to play free of "ohmygodthisbetaendsinaday" anxiety.

1) Getting access to the full story.

2) Crafting

3) Leveling

4) Preparing my Character for the inevitable entry into the DB(i plan on being a cooly deadly Undead Nightblade when that line is added)

5) Finally being able to tailor a job the way i like it without some pimply 12 yr old telling me my idea can't possibly work, because there are no theory-crafted magical spreadsheet overlays +5 that have been tested for 15 yrs non-stop by virgin wood-trolls in the sisterland of Tamriboredom that state unequivocally that it will.

I'm stoked about Sunday.

Spiritreaver, your #5 is suspiciously specific.

1. Exploring Tamriel. As a lore junkie, I cannot wait to see Valenwood, Orsinium, Black Marsh... all the places I've read about!

2. Going my own pace. As much as I loved beta, it felt rushed for all of us. I'm so happy to longer need to eke out a few hours on the weekends between other obligations.

3. Bringing a character from beginning to end. I love watching characters grow from nothing to TES-powerful and ready to take on ancient forces. The journey to that point is the most important part of the story, imo.

4. Sharing the game with other TES fans. This includes irl family and friends who love the series, and the future friends I hope to make in game!

5. Alts. Between 16 characters, I am going to explore ALL the combinations. All of them. :D

1. Character creation: I love making characters and making them as perfect as possible
2. Exploration: Finally get to see more of Tamriel
3. Leveling: Going at my own pace and seeing the various skills and new monsters
4. Grouping: Meeting possible players in game and questing with them
5. NPCs: I am very interested in interacting with npcs and finding new favorites or new Nazeems

1) Roleplaying, and writing my own story, something I have not done seriously since early DAoC.

2) Exploring the world at a slow pace.

3) Small group content, including both PvE and AvA.

4) Experiencing quests and storylines.

5) Reading all the books.

Things I love

1: crafting

2: exploring

3: immersive beautiful worlds

4: very small loading times

5: I love the sorc spell animations, when the wizzards hit the ground with their staff and elements pop out.. it reminds this scene (and makes me feel that) http://youtu.be/VlaiBeLrntQ

Things I dont like

1: guilds bound to account so all characters in 1 account forced into specific guild/s

Things I wish to see soon

1: personal stores / vendors for trading

Not sure if they will come true but:

-great community ( I have the lotro rp-server in mind, small chance it will happen since mega-server )

-exploration

-great hubs/places to hang around

-immersion

-great endgame ( multiple activities at lvl 50 to keep you busy, I have fluff in mind, such as fishing, as well as dungeons, raids, pvp, housing ( hopefully in the future ), cosmetic system, ...

1. An open world to explore at my leisure!

2. Finding new guildies/friends that enjoy ES almost as much as I do.

3. PvP! The adrenaline rush! But I also have a great time PvE'ing with friends or a p.u.g..

4. The full experience of voiced npcs with wonderful background music all in a beautiful world.

5. The fact that I took a week of vacation for this!

*salute*

1. Personalizing my character. I have never before played an MMO where I could make my character look the way I wanted to the degree that this one does.

2. PvP. I did not like PvP in other MMO’s much, the overly structured nature and focus on leaderboards made it feel only like a game and not like a war at all. However PvP here is dynamic and will be as good as we make it, I like that.

3. Exploring scenery that looks semi real and compelling. It may not be full of vibrant colors, but it looks like a real world and not something I would expect to see after taking too much acid. I think the landscapes are amazing and can’t wait to see more of them.

4. Trying all sorts of combinations of class and spec. I absolutely love how you can construct and reconstruct your character in so many ways (which are effective). I look forward to trying out every skill and combination my mind comes up with.

5. Crafting. I know other games have it but I really enjoy the system they have in place here. Though perhaps you can’t make the best final end game gear, you can make excellent gear for all the levels in between. And you can make nearly all the gear you need at each level, not just a decent hat at 18, a decent torso at 27, and so on.
