Forbidden Legend False Start

Post » Sat Mar 29, 2014 2:02 am

hi folks...been checkin' the topic and everyone's going crazy 'bout the boss fight and the missing amulet frags etc.etc. but get this!!!!!!

I'm stuck at the very start in Riverwood Traders......there's a quest marker in the middle of the shop floor and all the conversations with all the inhabitants trigger no info on hidden cellars or the quest itself. Have I missed something obvious??? pls be gentle........

If I'm not mistaken you can also start the quest by reading a certain book. Maybe thats what the quest mark is pointing to

That's one of those quests that also require you to join a faction, which I seldom ever join, so that quest just stays in my journal forever.

Same here. Unless I intend to do that quest, I never read that book if I come in contact with it during my travels.

Even though it is faction specific and can get a bit tedious I enjoyed that quest. I don't find the resultant artifact to be that great though, not like the White Phial quest. Another underpowered artifact but a good battle at the end.
