250-300 hours aka 10-12 played days for VR10

Post » Sat Mar 29, 2014 2:56 am

How fast will you get there? I'm probably going to get 5 hours on week days and 10 on weekends this means it will take me about 5-6 weeks to reach level cap ahhh I mean I'm okay with this I mean I guess adventure zones and trials might be by the time I hit cap

If true, then for me, probably 10-12 weeks to get there.

I figure this estimate is perfect-world, most efficient path possible, from 1 to VR10.

Take some time out to chat, fool around, craft, explore, etc and I think it will take you significantly longer.

That said, from what I recall from early days of WoW, I think I had about 12 days played with one max level character and one level 50 character. So seems to be 250-300 hours is nothing to sneeze at compared to some other modern MMO's

These are based on numbers PTS players have given us.

I mean if you have enough time you can easily cap in two weeks

I hope to get there as slow as possible.

If only there was a button to disable earning exp completely.

I actually want other people to get there first, then whine on the forums about broken skills, stats, gear, etc. so I know what to avoid.

:D

If nothing changes in my life and I focus on a single character, about two or three months.

Did PTS players read quest text and explore, or were the majority more the power leveller type? I assume one of these, so take the estimate with that in mind.

I won't be timing it. Really don't care how long it takes at this point, I'm more interested in just seeing the world.

Most of the PTS players in my guild did not read the quests and went through the content to VR10.

It really depends on your personal playing style.

I played PTS, and I'd imagine for me it would take at least several months. It took me about 250 hours to reach level 38 for one character and around 180 hours to reach level 27 with another.

I personally will take as long as I possibly can lol. The first playthrough on a new MMO is always amazing and can never be matched with alts. I'm gonna savor that.

Yes indeed, will never forget my Mains in each mmo I’ve played, good times.

I too think it'll take about 3 month if veteran content is really as nice and slow as everyone says. Have nothing else to compare it to but I hope it’s like Anarchy Online Shadow level was. Painfully slow

with my wife and work schedule, there is no telling how long it will take me to reach 50, let alone VR10. And Im fine with that.

Exactly what I expected. I'm expecting to take around twice the time a power leveller takes, with all my exploring, chatting, crafting, chatting, questing, helping others out & chatting :P

So that's around 600 hours to VR10. If I average at 5 hours a day (will be much more for first few weeks, but then teeter off as I need to work more over the weeks / months, I expect it to take me around 4 months, so by 1st August will be VR10! :P

I love the ice cream anology, I don't want to eat ESO too fast, that's for sure.
