wireless adds to dpc latency. You think it's sweet but in effect its causing your cpu to "hang out" waiting. Wireless is the number #1 fault maker for internal latency.
Not only does a wireless mouse add a ton on "input" latency its adds internal DPC latency as well. check your latency with this tool straight from the developer. http://www.thesycon.de/deu/latency_check.shtml
If you are under 100 consistently you're set. If you spike in any way past 250+ you will feel that in game as the hitchies.
As far as your logitech g700s, it's best run at 1000 dpi which is native to the mouse sensor. Software interpolates + or - of the 3 native resolutions for the S line. I have a g100s, its a fantastic fps mouse except for dpi interpolation. If it was a fixed 400-500 dpi mouse it would be used in tournaments.
