Targeting emotes

Dont think I figured this out in beta.

Targeting an emote at a specific player... mouseover or hard lock target? Tried mouseover once and got nothing but it may have been one you cant target.

Unfortunately that is not possible in ESO. :/

At least currently.

Some of them appear to be intended to be used at a target.

And you *can* hard target NPCs. Haven't tried it on players yet though.

Not being able to target npcs with /wave and stuff is the most ridiculous thing I've heard of.

Think it was the tab key. Set brackets on a single enemy you had moused over. Useful for keeping one's eye on a single target clustered in a pile of them :P

Unless they removed it in the last beta, it was there in the one before it.

Targeting an emote in ESO

1. Select target you want to emote

2. Invite player to group

3. Get players UserID from group menu

4. Hack ESO website and extract players email address from UserID database

5. Reverse search players phone number from email address (Shields on high)

6. Reach for smartphone and using obtained phone number message player

/wave
