@OP: I agree with everyone above me. If you like Fallout 3, you'll most likely enjoy this. It's a bit less polished in some areas and the quests are lot more linear, but at the same time there are more options build and exploration wise. Dungeons are a bit more linear, but are very plentiful. I suggest buying the game on PC if possible, however, because of mods, and there will most likely be a few things you'll want to change at some point.
But personally, I prefer this over Fallout 3.
EDIT: Didn't read your last post. Not sure if you got it off Steam or the Xbox Marketplace, but either way you'll be satisfied.
