This will be a two part question to save a little bit of space on the forums.
Firstly, I would like to bring up the Categorized Favorites Menu from Nexus. I have seen no extensive tutorial on it whatsoever which I find unfortunate, so I had to settle with relying on other people's experience and googling questions myself. Sadly, I haven't come across anything that would help me with my dilemma. I know only the absolute basics when it comes to CFM. By that, I mean I can move the menu around the screen. If I were to attempt anything more than that, things get a little strange. Basically, I want to eliminate the "Hotkeyed" column so that I can make the menu more compact and symmetrical. I have already gotten rid of the "Equip Set" column with no trouble, so I don't see any reason why "Hotkeyed" would be any different. Whenever I try to get rid of that particular section, the black background becomes a black strip at the top of my screen, and the lower columns labeled "Apparel, Weapons, etc" are nearly gone, being at the most bottom of my screen. I have tried a few different things such as deleted "Hotkeyed" from here...
row1 = Hotkeyed, Potions, Shouts/Powers, Magic
row1_height_list = Hotkeyed <------- Also what the heck is this supposed to be? I can't wrap my head around this... Same with row2_height_list
as well as disabling it by changing "true" to "false" as seen here...
[list]
name = Hotkeyed
type = hotkey
enabled = true
keywords =
I have tried these two methods both separately and in conjunction, but I get the same result. Below with be a couple comparison pictures to help you see what I mean. Any help would be appreciated. I will also copy/paste any more info from the cfg that I think is important.
menu_base_x = 7 (These x and y values are different in my overrides.cfg file just to point out. I just left them default since there'd be no point in changing them)
menu_base_y = -730
menu_cols = 4
list_alignment = left
default_num_list_entries = 11
default_list_width = 192
default_list_entry_height = 22
default_list_entry_font_size = 18

Now onto the SkyUI problem. This is a more simple matter and shouldn't take too much time to figure out ideally. Basically, I want to have the V/W ratio available in my menu, and I read that to do that you need to put the skyui.cfg into the data\interface directory. Here is the problem, however. There is no skyui.cfg file. I have looked in the zip that is stored in the directory where Nexus keeps the mods. I also manually installed SkyUI, only to find out that it has the same files. Here is what I found.
A folder labeled "fomod"
Readme - SkyUI.txt
SkyUI.bsa
SkyUI.esp
If someone could tell me if I am either doing something wrong or there is something wrong with the installation, that would be great. I have tried 2 or 3 different times, but I have yet to see this file I need.
Anyways, that about does it. I hope you all understand what is being asked here since I tried to be very clear about it. I don't say that to be condescending. Rather, I'm just anxious to see what everyone has to say because I honestly haven't found the solutions on my own. Thank you for your time.
