So a day before early access, which race is going to be best for a Nightblade Archer ? I'm deciding between Bosmer and Khajiit.

Why would anyone play another race over Khajit? I mean really?

I'm partial to Bosmer. I grew up playing Wing Commander with my dad, so playing a 6-foot cat seems counter-intuitive.

Both have synergy with that type of play, but Bosmer do have an exp boost on bows.

Then again, I played a Bosmer archer all the way through Skyrim, so I'm pretty biased in that regard.

It really shouldn't matter long term. Bosemer will level archery faster, but you'll hit the cap either way. Kajit have a crit bonus, but it's called out in the description as being melee crit if I remember right.

Actually, looking at the racials as whole, for the most part they seem to be geared towards accelerating in advancement towards certain skills, and not having a huge impact when you have things maxed.

Bosmer get a 15% boost to the speed Bow gains exp. But aside from that, i think all races are as skilled as the player.

Thinking maybe Redguard, with all the stamina boosts... Yeah, you get magicka abilities, and they don't help with that, but the bow abilities are stamina, and Redguards do get really helpful abilities to help with those...

race doesn't matter since the racial skill give a small boost.

True, in the lore, but it is not really refelcted in the game other than gainin skill points faster with a bow. Khajiit gain skill points faster with medium armor, so if you plan on using medium armor those two skills are just a trade off.

dunmer, 10% extra fire dam

Same on both accounts, although I do know of one player that is playing a khajit with the name of a famous turn coat Kilrathi.

The one you enjoy staring at the most - that is my honest opinion!
