pretty much. the Lore is pretty locked down and established, theres no way to do a lot of stuff without breaking the lore. same goes for akavir, we won't be going there.
as for the many island kingdoms spread around tamriel, nothing stopping us from going there.
a load of people also went to pyandonea around this time so theres that...
they made one i redguard so it shouldn't be too much of a problem
except maybe speed lol, can't imagine they'd be able to keep up with other players
nothing. but they aren't in tamriel at this time, and as treated as hostile by pretty much everyone. no one goes to akavir in this time either. so akavir is out unless they want to through the games established lore and history out the window.
theres plenty of other places we can go.
they're still an enemy though. they have been nothing but hostile to tamriel and I don't think ever aloud to wander freely.
I haven't played Redguard. I'm not sure if their body shape allows them to use conventional weapons and move on land as effectively as other races. And I don't see them riding horses, which btw would be a problem for Tsaesci too. Hmm.
but they've already done that
i don't think more races would be lore-breaking, some races yeah but certainly not all of them. i'd like to see sload npc's they'd make good villains
I'd much rather they focus on content than races but as long as they keep to the lore I'd be fine with whatever they want to release
Dreugh.
Just kidding. None. Wouldn't mind actually meeting an Akaviri NPC, though. But no new playable races.
they haven't though. they expanded upon a part of part of the history that was before this relatively undetailed.
but they have made sure through books to emphasize the only time tamrelic races ever went to akavir was when they invaded, and then got decimated, they also never allowed them to freely travel tamriel. there is simply no way of writing it in without contradicting the entire series,
sload however are common around the sumerset isles. so its likely we'll see them when they actually add the isles.
10 playable races is enough. One aspect I hate about other books, movies, games, they add so much crap (aka races) and has not lore to back them up. Making that race pointless, 10 races with good solid lore -- that all that we need.
First of all, I am new to the lore, and I don′t know much about it′s ?limitations? (such as - what can be playable or ′fightable′ against...I know that we are not supposed to fight dragons for whatever reason), but I can perfectly understand all the people that do care (and ZOS will certainly have that huge part of their population in mind).
My favorite ′to be added′ race would be, in order of preference, Falmer followed by Draemora (or other Daedra) with eventual necromancer skill line <3... then Akaviri. Speaking of latter, I like @CheesusChrist95 idea of Akaviri invasion!?
Could anyone more familiar with the Elder Scrolls lore tell me, how lore friendly would be to have some kind of portals/rifts/gates through which one could travel to different eras, therefore being able to play Dwemer or fight Dragons etc. ?
