Let's see: Tequilla - check, Graqefruit Juice - check, Peanut Butter, Honey, and Bread - check. nearby Chinese delivery on speed dial - check. Did the laundry and the dishes for next week. I'm ready.

I'll be using my standard work alarm for 6am CST. Once I get a cup or two of Caribou in me, I'll start playing. I'm not concerned with names. I'm just ready to get involved in a good MMO. I've been away from gaming for a few years.

Don't think daylight savings time was factored in, I was confused also then I adjusted my time to 6am eastern and think I am all set.

Those three examples all have the same relevance as Herpes being common. They're all inconsequential to the use of the term "toons".

The term "toon" isn't childish. It infers zero disprespect towards characters and those who play them. It's simply a generic term derived from the cartoonish appearance and nature that avatars have always reflected in many online games.

wow (the exclamation, not the game), I'm fairly liberal and seeing all this fauxrage about using 'toon' instead of 'character' can only mean one thing ... you all need to go get some sleep before launch.

Actually, you could update the client long before the servers opened, but I tried to log in many times before the actual start time and failed. I usually got the warning that Beta was not up. Come back when it is up.

I already updated the client. I think the only thing I am waiting for is the Early Access code which is supposed to be mailed when Early Access starts.
