Hello everyone, it's been awhile since I've posted on these lovely forums - but my recent brainstorming as to what race to play through Oblivion and Skyrim again, as well as my main choice/first character for Elder Scrolls Online made me think of a few other things - which brings me to the topic at hand. In Oblivion, a Sorcerer is described as a magic-user who also learns to make use of heavy armor, in contrast to Battlemages who, by Oblivion's description, use melee weapons of both bladed and blunt variety. I'm also aware that in Morrowind, Battlemages were described as using heavy armor, weapons, and spell while Sorcerers then would use medium and heavy armor as a more minor skill to them. But the idea of them using armor while focusing mainly in the pursuit of magic is something I've been wondering about. Is there any lore-given reason somewhere that gives insight into a magic-user like a Sorcerer using heavu armor, conjured or otherwise? If not, that's fine, feel free to throw your two septims in either way.
...And I apologize if this seems out of place, but does Delacroix sound good for a Breton surname?
