How often do you use Shouts?

Just wondering how much people rely on shouts. I don't use them very much, not because I think they are not useful, rather because I'm always forgetting about them unless I require a specific one - yes, a lot of senior moments LOL

Almost never regrettably. I plan to make full use of the shouts in this next playthrough of mine. I usually just use UF.

M'aiq does not understand what is so impressive about shouting. M'aiq can shout whenever he wants.

You have brought up a good point for the game developer. I too rarely used the shouts in any of 4 times that I have completed SKYRIM. That is until I found out about the Zero Wait time between shouts. Most of the shouts can be achieved with normal magic or potions and is mostly redundant. I always used the Clear Skies shout because I do not like the Grey Overcast conditions that seem to follow you all the time. Whats that old song " I can see clearly now the rain has stopped or something like that ".

How often My characters do Shout is reliant on the character I am using. My current character Shouts quite a lot in Game, but only uses a handfull of the Shouts. I have Mages that have only used Whirlwind Sprint, and Fus-Ro during the Questline.

Never, because my favorite shouts have bad cooldowns!

But yeah, I love them, if my character ever realizes his dragon potential. Whirlwind Sprint, Slow Time, and Unrelenting Force are great, yo. You just can't beat killing someone with ragdoll physics. You. Just. Cannot.

Storm Call is magnificent! An incredibly underrated shout that isn't used enough, same goes for the ones that
Spoiler
summon dragons.
I mean who doesn't want to do that?

Haven't played as a Dragonborn for ages and when I did play as a Dragonborn I rarely shouted. I used shouts when I had to use them to get through the main quest and very rarely used them any other times.

Same here, but I have to wonder why we don't use them more? Most of the shouts are badass. We only have ourselves to blame.

I don't use them too often either. I plan on one of these years making a character that relies heavily on them.
Like the OP, I most of the time forget to use them.

I hardly use shouts at all. I find them a bit redundant, unrelenting force is good for giggles, but i never really see the need for the others.

I think unrelenting force is the only one I'll use on a regular basis and remember to use. It really comes in handy if/when you're surrounded.

I use become ethereal quite a bit to jump off mountains and avoid spell damage. Other than that, not a whole lot.

I dont really like them. I mean Unrelenting force is funny to use but I only use it during the thing up at High Hrothgar. I used to use it in battle and sometimes shout my followers off cliffs and stuff but I just don't bother with it anymore.

Whirlwind sprint. needed in 1 Dwemer ruin for optional loot and for 1 part of the MQ. and thats it.

Dragonrend. easy mode when fighting a dragon. I don't like it. I only use it in 3 different battle in the MQ.
