The Black Death may not have been bubonic after all.

So, maybe I'm just boring, but stories like http://www.theguardian.com/science/2014/mar/29/black-death-not-spread-rat-fleas-london-plague are fascinating to me. It kind of helps remind us that science isn't always infallible as some people act and that we can uncover things we previously misconceived.

Anyway, what do you guys think?

I watched a show about that some time back. Scientists had a theory that it was some sort of slow burning Ebola Virus. But they also believed there was the Plague spread by rats.

Man, So little we know and so much we learn. Fascinating to say the least.

This isn't exactly new information, but it's good to see it getting more mainstream attention.

I studied the Black Death at university and the first thing they taught us was to forget everything we were told at school.
