Dovahkiin uses MarkForDelete Shout!

Okay. I'm getting down right pissed off. It seems more often than not, whenever I fast travel to the Riften stables, a dragon decides it wants to have a little fun. I heard from some people that fast travelling increases dragon encounters, while others say the amount of dragons encountered depends on how far along in the main quest one is. I only finished the very first main quest (regretfully), and am WAY too far along to say I want to undo that horrid mistake. My question is... can I use the commands disable/markfordelete on that little f*cker without deleting all other dragons with that same id in the world? I know I can delete it, because I already did it once. I decided to reload to this particular point though because I was paranoid using those commands affected other dragons as well besides the one I used them on. If it does affect other dragons as well, is it permanent? I am only wanting to do this because I do NOT want any casualties to people I can potentially start quests with or vendor with. Guards are okay though. Anyways. This dragon is currently the bane of my Skyrim experience. If I wasn't so concerned for the lives of the others around me, I wouldn't give a sh!t. I even cheated in dragonrend just for this fight, but the bastard decides to land on THE OTHER SIDE OF THE CITY! *sigh*. Whatever.

Dragons spawn more if you fast travel.

if you can't be bothered fighting them you could just open the console commands thing and click on the dragon and type kill.

That doesn't actually work. I have tried multiple times. I even tried typing "kill (dragon id)". What I am asking is if the markfordelete command will delete only that one dragon or all dragons with that same id that happen to be in the world. If so, is it permanent?

It depends what you attach to the command: base ID or ref ID.

All I do is go to my command console, click the dragon which shows a code, then first type disable, then markfordelete. Just for the sake of being thorough. Is this okay? Also for some reason, when I click the dragon to try to kill it instead, I get an error and the dragon's code changes. Just something I thought odd. I also heard fast travel causes more encounters which Garrus here seems to vouch for. What I don't get is that I heard carriages don't count as fast travel, yet the first time I ever used a carriage to Riften, a dragon was there waiting. This was very early in game too. Oh well.

Oh, that should be fine. Make a save to be sure, but I've done that with plenty of things and it's always turned out okay.

I have read that the kill command only works on dragons when they have landed. It has something to do with the dragon's behavior on death that prevents them from spontaneously dying when airborne or perched on a building. I will probably just cheat dragonrend in, force it to land in a hopefully convenient area, then cheat his ass back to oblivion. I'd rather kill it unfairly then do something more drastic like erasing it from the physical plane of existence xD.
