I thought it would be interesting to hear others' favorite stories and tales about the history of Nirn and its inhabitants. Also, maybe I'll learn something that I didn't already know about TES

There are two things that intrigue me the most:

1) The creation of the Dunmer: How they used to be Chimer and were cursed by Azura because they broke a pact. The pale gold skin of the Chimer became ashen and gray. Their eyes, red.

2) Galerion the Mystic: He was only 11 when he travelled across Tameriel and eventually came to the Summurset Isle. He then became a member of the Psijiics on the Isle of Arcaeum. A little while later he "killed" the great Mannimarco ( The King of the Worms).

So tell me yours! Would love to know...

The Ashlanders. It's aaaaall about the Ashlanders. But Nerevar's story and the 'controversy' surrounding the Tribunal would be a close second. Third would be the Ashlanders.

According to The Daughter of the Niben, bird men once roamed ancient Tamriel in the area that would become Cyrodiil, thought that was pretty interesting.

Anything about the Orcs and the Siege of Orsinium, the Dunmer, Altmer and the pre-Morrowind Cyrodiilic culture.

Pyandonea: with all its dark, anxious wonder and mystique.

The Bosmer intrigue me as a race, and Valenwood as a province.
