It sounds weird, but the l find the harder locks easier to pick. Their sound is more direct and easier to time. The so called easy ones have a slow movement and slower sounds, and I somehow can't find the right click. On the harder locks you raise the pick when you hear the higher tone.

Very easy
Very hard
Hard
Easy
