Hi again

Was searching thru various locations to find 3 flawless amethysts when noticed that the damage rating for my weapons had reduced dramatically. I think what happened was this: I switched to TV mode and forgot that xbox was still on. When I remembered, I had been killed by something or someone (might have been a dragon). Anyway I restarted and fast travelled to another location when I first noticed the change. Various swords and battle axes had been reduced from 40 to 30 etc etc.

Can't recall exactly where I was but could have been Snowveil Crypt, dust mans Cairn, Temple of Mehunes Dragon...

How weird.

Has this sort of thing happened to anyone else?

I know I can load earlier save but would like to know how this occurred.

Are you sure you don't have a disease that lowers weapons by 25%? That's what it sounds like; you get it from wolves usually.

If you aren't a vampire or werewolf and you were attacked by an animal then its a good chance that you caught some sort of disease. The effects range so its possible you caught Rockjoint or Droops (depending on where in Skyrim you were). Its a common enough disease. Check your stats to see if you have a disease.

If not then I don't know.

Cure your disease with a potion or at any shrine.

They don't know if it is a disease.
