I just bought a new WIndows 8 PC and downloaded Skyrim on Steam, and I'm having weird control issues with the game. After about 2-3 minutes of playing the game, it kicks me into third person view and disables me from clicking buttons in the menu. When I press F to switch back to first person mode it doesn't work. As for the menu, it will let me click the top row of buttons like "Settings" and "Inventory", but for instance if I search a chest and want to click which items i want to take, it doesn't respond. It also doesn't let me click "Save" and quit out of the game. I have to press f5 and use the arrow keys to navigate the menu and exit the game.

I previously had a problem with the PC, but that was because WIndows 8 makes the mouse click delay, and I turned it off to fix that. But I'm not sure what's causing this new problem. Any ideas?
