Hi, there.

I just downloaded F:NV off of steam yesterday (just the original version, no DLC) and it seems to be running well besides a recurring issue that is getting to be very annoying. Basically, about five minutes into playing, I will get stuck in third person view. I cannot switch back to first person view. As well, when this happens, my VATS no longer works. I'll try and engage VATS and my screen will flash rapidly between first and third person views without being able to stop or stay on one type of view. Only reloading an earlier save stops this and, then, only temporarily.

I'm not sure what to do or how to correct it. I'm not terribly knowledgeable about computers and played mostly on consoles before this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: Sorry, I should note that I'm running Windows 8.
