I am unable to play Morrowind on my new computer which runs Windows 7 Home Premium (64 Bit). Whenever I try to play Morrowind it crashes immediately to my home screen and says that "Morrowind has stopped working". I have looked on the internet for hours and have found many situations similar to mine but none that had resulted in a solution. I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling it 3 times, tried playing it in XP mode (both Packages), and even updating everything to the latest software.

I know that my computer is capable of playing it because its specs are ahead of what is required

Any help is very much appreciated if you have any questions relating to the situation please ask as I really want to play Morrowind.

Are you sure it has to do with 64 bit Windows 7?

I'm running Morrowind on it and I have no problems.

What are the rest of your computer specs like?

Morrowind works just fine on Win7
Post a DXDiag report, and we can see what your specs are.

It works fine for me and I play with MGE and many mods.
