So I killed like 5 whiterun guards while sneaking for x15 bonus and it one shotted them and I got the kill cam. But then I go and try to one shot another quard from Whiterun and it only damages half his health. I still get the x15 bonus message in the corner and I'm using the same weapon. Why does this happen??

Forget the "maybe" - pretty well all the random generic characters have a range of attributes. You'll get the same variety among bandits and any other NPCs. Some of the creatures get the same treatment. Not all Frost Trolls are alike, for example.

What you don't know is that he's a Dragonborn too, and just doesn't know it yet.


The greybeards leave the possibility of more Dragonborn out there - the player is just the only one that responds.

That guard really DID used to be an adventurer like you, before he took an arrow to the knee. Such a blow would have felled a lesser Nord.
