I'm in the same boat, that's why I ask if we're being ourselves in this scenario or we're our characters. If it was just me then nope, I don't believe in violence unless it's in self defense whereas my characters don't have this philosophy.

We're all being ourselves, with enough skill to not be totalled in minutes.
